As candidate and advocacy campaigns become more effective by using better data, there is a growing need for professional, trained data managers. NOI is proud to introduce Data BootCamp 2010- an intensive, five-day training hosted by the most successful practitioners in the industry.
Where and When?
Join us February 28th-March 4th, 2010 Washington, DC. The location will be announced in January. Travel stipends may be available.
Plus, NOI will cover the costs of Data BootCamp for anyone admitted!
Over these five days you will gain all of the skills you will need to go straight into a data manager position on a candidate or advocacy campaign.
Sessions will include:
* Fundamentals of working with political data and voterfiles * How data informs field strategy * The role of a data manager on a campaign * Cutting-edge tools such as the Voter Activation Network (VAN) * Introduction to targeting strategy and tools
In addition, you will get exposure to the decision makers who are hiring data managers across the country for 2010 campaigns.
