I’m running for State Representative because I am passionate about public service and am committed to making Denver and Colorado the best place it can be. I have over twenty years of community ties to House District 5 and the necessary political and legal experience to lead it forward. No candidate in this race understands the needs of the district better and will boldly stand for the issues that are important to us. Please support me in this endeavor by making a contribution today.
As an attorney with United Food and Commercial Workers Local 7, I know first hand the responsibility that comes along with representing others and the importance of careful decision making that affects the lives of thousands of Colorado families. These experiences have encouraged me to continue my work to serve my community at the State Legislature.
I have a proven track record of standing up for progressive causes even when it means making tough choices. It's this type of leadership you can expect from me when I represent you at the State Legislature. What we don't need are more politicians that fall into the status quo. Instead, we need a leader - a champion who will work to create strong jobs, fight for working families, and build an excellent school system that will prepare students for the 21st century through the collaboration of parents and teachers. Won't you help invest in the future of our community by donating $10 a month or more?
Together we will lead House District 5 and Colorado forward.
P.S. Join me on December 19th at 7:00am at North High School for the Sandos Christmas Basket Drive - a program to provide holiday food baskets to those in need. This historic program began twenty-seven years ago by former Denver City Councilman Sam Sandos and has been continued through the work of his successors Councilwomen Ramona Martinez and Rosemary Rodriguez and current Councilman Paul Lopez.
